The Second Meeting of the Standing Committee of the Sixth National People's Congress has decided to authorize the State Council to make necessary amendments and supplements to certain provisions of the State Council's Provisional Measures for Taking Care of the Aged, Physically Weak, Sick and Disabled Cadres and the State Council's Provisional Measures Concerning the Retirement and Resignation of Workers, both approved in principle at the Second Meeting of the Standing Committee of the Fifth National People's Congress on May 24, 1978.
